THE CITY IS GOING TO RUIN LAKE WYMAN

10/13/2016

PREPARE FOR A BOAT DOCK @ LAKE WYMAN  -   EXACTLY AS PREDICTED

OUR CITY IS NOT STEWARDING FOR THE PEOPLE -

DO NOT VOTE FOR EARL STARKOFF / SCOTT SINGER  - THEY ARE TWO OF THE SPEARHEADS OF THIS TRAGEDY

Is it time to invest in trash retrieving apparatus?   How does the trash get removed from the mangroves?

Or maybe the city is budgeting to place a "seawall" around "Lake Wyman"   - Removing all mangroves?

Protective laws only matter to the people - NOT THE CITY - THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WISH.

Do not agree with your assessment. Boaters have always wanted another boat ramp. If it has to take place, would prefer it be at Lake Wyman/Rutherford Park than at Ocean Strand, which the City Council initially identified as a desirable location. Commissioner Earl Starkoff has continued his support of Ocean Strand; and Councilman Scott Singer his support of controlling development in Boca Raton. Both have therefore earned our support.

While I respect your comments - I am not remotely interested in placing a boat ramp and facilities in Lake Wyman or Ocean Strand - Both are very sensitive areas - Both would destroy the environment and end the peace and tranquility we all enjoy...

Why not consider purchasing the property north of the wildflower - building a real dock on that side - that parcel is already challenged by the portion the city doesn't own.

This would have little to no impact and would bring a boating attraction to the park...

Is it time to get on board with the city and see how much we can pave? I am sure I can come up with some more projects - after all there is are other area we can go after - SHOULD WE PAVE PARADISE? WHO CARES?

The next city council will have nothing left to go after - EXCEPT "OCEAN STRAND" -

THERE IS ZERO HOPE IN PROTECTING BOCA RATON FROM THE AGGRESSIVE CITY LEADERS....

FOR THE RECORD - I GIVE IT LESS THAN 2 YEARS AFTER THE LAKE WYMAN BOAT RAMP IS COMPLETE - BEFORE OCEAN STRAND GETS FULLY DEVELOPED - DESPITE ANY EFFORTS OF ANY OF THE PEOPLE -

I cannot support a leader that promotes this activity - and this includes Earl Starkoff and Scott Singer - I have no ill feelings toward either - I just cannot support this "build and pave all" aggressive behavior our city has shown over the course of the last couple years...
